TIE (4 folds – 7 folds – limited edition)
The processing in our Neapolitan Tailoring “Antica Sartoria Made in Naples", begins with taking a refined fabric where the 3 slipcutters are placed at 45 degrees, this causes the tie to remain suspended at all times without turning or folding on itself on its axis vertical and, in order to give the pattern a perfect centering of drawing.
With a chalk, the edges of the paper pattern are contoured, then the fabric is rigorously cut by hand for different quantities depending on the model to be created, whether 7 folds or 3/4 folds.
Then on the back, depending on the lightness we wanted to give to the model created, it proceeds with sewing the monochromatic silk lining combined with the texture colors of the front or of the same fabric of front or completely unlined. Then we move on to assembly of the 3 pieces which are inferiori tail, middle part, anterior tail.
The next step is to insert a valuable canvas inside the tie called tie’s soul being composed of a high percentage of silk and wool.
This gives the fabric a great resistance and, at the same time, elasticity, protecting from the wear the parts that are subject to more stress and wear, such as the collar and the knot.
Then the tie is basted and once sewn, it ends with the flat fell seam, starting from the back of the inferior tail and arriving at the back of anterior tail using a single sewing thread fine silk.
This silk thread is also called SLIP-STITCH, left free on the back of the inside of the small inferiori tail, takes on the appearance of a hanging thread and it certifies a further certification of craftsmanship.
Once the various steps have been completed, there will be the customization of the embroidery of the two bar tacks, the seam of the passerby and the stitching of the label with coral-colored or other colored silk depending on the line the label or model.

Once the jacket, trousers or coat have been prepared, we move to the First test and any modifications to be made;

We move to the second test, with the definition of the garment, afterwards, we move to the Personalization phase with the choice of the inner lining, the kind of the buttons and the affixing of the external stitching;
It is important to underline that a further characteristic of our tailoring garment is that of fixing exclusively by hand the front part of the jacket and of the coat on valuable canvases made of wool, so as to provide greater wearability and resistance to the garment.
Before being able to define the garment and according to the required buttoning, the so-called buttonholes are marked. Once sewed, we move to the finishing of the external stitching, thus ensuring resistance and flexibility to the garment and giving it a further touch of elegance;
You can not say that you have finished without having sewn the precious buttons with the appropriate method of the hen paw stitch, which gives them the same resistance;
The garment is completed with the stitching of the labels;

- CHOICE OF THE FORM
The starting element of the Giammarco Saviano shoe is to design the most suitable shape for each model; it will be the characterizing element for giving it character and personality
- CREATIVE RESEARCH, MODELING, DESIGN
Creative research is based on 2 basic points: the precious materials and the continuous analysis of new market trends and once the style has been defined, we move to the creation of the form on which the final drawings will be made.
- CHOICE OF MATERIALS
Our shoes are mainly worked in first quality calf leather but not only; them include refined full grain, suede, polished (brushed), patent leather, as well as deerskin leather and coconut leather and on request in crocodile leather.
- CUT
The cut of the leather is the starting point for the realization of the shoe; with it the expert hands of expert craftsmen create the conditions for a very high quality shoe. The inside of the shoe will be covered with a very soft fine goatskin in the blue color typical of our brand.
- HEMMING
The hemming is a very complex operation, this phase worked by skilled hands, puts together the various pieces: upper, lining and reinforcements that make up shoes.
- ASSEMBLY / TIP AND HEEL
The counter and the tip will allow the upper to preserve over time the appearance conferred to it initially; it is assembled after closing of the tip and heel directly on the shape.
- ASSEMBLY / MODEL ADHERENCE
In order to guarantee a perfect fit of the model on the shape, the shoe is heated in order to beat energetically the upper on the shape.
- ASSEMBLY / BRUSHING
At this point there is a first brushing of the shoe so that the color and the brightness of the chosen leather stand out.
- ASSEMBLY/ HOT STAMPING APPLICATION
We move to the application of the hot stamp of our brand both under the sole and inside of the shoe in order to certify our product manufacture. Only at this point, the sole will be placed on the shoe.
- ASSEMBLING/ SOLE AND HEEL PRESSING
The sole and the heel are pressed onto the shoe in preparation for stitching.
- ASSEMBLING/BLAKE STITCHING
The famous method of craftsmanship is called Blake, which allows the sole to join the upper and the leather insole by means of a worked cotton seam of blue color, guaranteeing a resistance as extraordinary as its design.
- FINAL POLISHING
The shoe is polished by hand and garnished with its accessories.
- INSERTING CEDARWOOD SHOETREE
